Reflecting on another trunk show is always magical and makes us even more excited for the next. Hosting some of the most notable designers of our time, Archives has become home to likeminded people who appreciate the innovative wearable art.
On October 23, 2019, Nak Armstrong made a personal appearance at Archives to showcase his new designs. All the way from Austin, Texas, the designer’s first time in Toronto in 15 years was nothing but a success!
As expected, the reactions of our guests fell far from short. Every piece that was tried on or simply admired through the vitrine, brought an immense amount of excitement. Nak Armstrong’s inspiration to create such innovative pieces comes from “always trying to be better.”
His studies in architecture, then fashion design, brought about a solid foundation for complex, smart, yet beautiful designs. Every stone is hand-picked and hand cut to perfection. The designer first draws each piece by hand and then places the stones directly on his sketch to be set. Every piece is made with the wearer in mind for optimal comfort and beauty.
Nak spent time getting to know the Archives family and shoppers, taking his time to explain each piece, his inspiration behind his collection, and his journey into the fine jewelry world.
Accompanied by delicious canapés and champagne, were our friends and clients, enjoying an evening of jewels and mingling.
There is truly nothing better than that.
