Dior Eyewear · Sunglasses

Dior eyewear is the epitome of innovation and modernism. Dior believes that eyewear is an integral part of the complete look and therefore never sacrifices or compromises on design.

Dior was founded in 1946 by French designer Christian Dior who revolutionized how women dressed from his very first collection onwards.

In 1969, the first pair of sunglasses by Dior were made. They were made of thick optyl resin in a dramatic oversized circular shape with stamped metal frames. Optyl wasn’t ready for commercial use so the first pair to be put into commercial production was made of acetate instead.

Dior’s eyewear is an integral part of self-confidence and a pivotal element to every outfit.
