Horisaki

Horisaki Design & Handel begun three years ago by husband and wife Makoto and Karin Horisaki, the tiny firm uses painstaking old-fashionied methods, distressing rabbit and beaver fur with fire and water to create styles with a soft, worn patina.
Although the couple is expanding their offerings—with linen hats, scarves and straw hats—they prefer to turn away business than grow and have others make their products.
