After meeting at the Basel School of Design, the friendship of Christa Bösch and Cosima Gadient sparked the existence of Ottolinger. Gadient and Bösch are pioneering the radical “anti-fashion” side of the fashion design industry.
The brand designs with consideration of current times, maintaining a primary focus on print, shape and colour, with an aggressive finish to all materials used. Their stylistic approach to design of deconstruction explores the definition, and makes you consider what is considered fashion.
The Berlin-based line focuses on destroying typical commercial clothing and accessories, creating boundary-pushing designs and pieces that are intentionally chaotic.
